The reason I chose the subculture, deer hunters, is because it is a subculture I belong to. Belonging to this subculture has also motivated me to show people who may not accept deer hunting, other people’s views and reasons for partaking in this sport. I believe some of the fixed positions that will affect what I see are age and gender. Some subjective positions I may carry are that I have hunted all my life and was raised to become a hunter. That hunting is a way of life in my family and has been since I was born. Also that it is time spent with my dad, and some of the experience we have shared in the woods.
