Brody Carter Box #2
During the fall and winter months of every year I spend almost everyday outside sitting in a treestand. I spend nearly a hundred dollars a year on licenses, ammunition, and the latest gear for that year. During the weekends when most college students are partying, I am waking up somewhere around 5:00 A.M. I get dressed and look at the weather forecast for the day. I usually leave my house around 5:30. I usually sit in rain or snow until about 11:00 A.M. Many people think this insane to be sitting in sometimes single digit temperatures, and maybe not even see a deer. After the morning hunt I go right back out into the woods, and sit until I cannot see my hand in front of my face. Many people think that hunting is a cruel and inhumane sport, but this is what I do almost everyday during hunting season. So while other college students are staying up late or waking up with hangovers, I am waking up before sunrise to head out into the woods, to maybe or maybe not see a deer.
