The subculture that I am going to study is deer hunters. One possible and probably the best field site I am going to visit is a local archery shop. The archery shop is called Carrols Archery. I have been to this place multiple times. Any given day you can go into this shop and find archers ranging in the age of elementary kids to retired men and women. The main topic of discussion is usually new archery gear or previous archery competitions. During the deer hunting season, the main topic is the stories that happened while deer hunting or the deer that went down. Another field site I would like to visit is a shopping center such as the Muncie Mall or other non hunting shops. I would like to ask questions to people who do not hunt or are related to anyone that hunts. I would like to ask what their view on hunting and what do they think of went they think of a hunter.
Since I already belong to this subculture, I would like to learn why everyone hunts. Whether it is for the meat, family time, relaxation, or to shoot a big buck. I would also want to know how they feel when someone who does not agree with hunting approaches them, and how it makes them feel.

I don't think I know anyone that hunts, but I think it sounds interesting. Are you just going to ask random people that you see if they hunt or not? I don't even know what you use to shoot them. haha. But why do you hunt??
